24/7 Alarm Monitoring
If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? The same goes for your alarm system. What good will it do if your alarm is triggered and you aren’t home? This is where the award-winning EPS Security Monitoring Center steps in. Our monitored alarm systems protect homeowners whether they are present or not.
Fire alarms, CO detectors, water sensors, temperature sensors, and burglary alarms are all connected to the EPS Security Monitoring Center, ensuring prompt communication and dispatch of appropriate authorities and first responders in case of an emergency. Our professional security personnel are available ‘round the clock to ensure our customers can rest easy.
“We have been recognized for delivering stellar customer service by The Monitoring Association (TMA); our staff has received both TMA Monitoring Center of the Year and TMA Monitoring Operator of the Year in 2022.”
-Jennifer Day, EPS Security Monitoring Center
Right in your community
EPS Security is a local, family-owned company, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In addition to our Monitoring Center’s Michigan roots, each local operator at EPS Security must go through an extensive, 12-week training program to ensure prompt and accurate response to alarm events. This way our Monitoring Center can maintain its UL certification and continue it’s award-winning service to our customers.
On top of it all, EPS Security operators form ongoing relationships with local authorities and first responders, far beyond the frequency of other Monitoring Center’s located out-of-state. We are your neighborhood security team!
Certifications
“Any customer requiring an alarm system should seek services from a provider that has chosen to partner with Underwriters Laboratories (UL). The UL certificate is the alarm company’s declaration that an alarm system is installed, serviced, maintained and monitored in compliance with applicable codes and standards. Annual audits are conducted to help verify that the alarm system installation and services continues to comply.
Audits require alarm service providers to verify that fire alarm systems are inspected, tested and maintained under a service agreement with the alarm system subscriber. All of this means customers are receiving the best possible service, simplify meeting their insurance requirements, and ultimately know that their business and its people are properly protected when it matters most.”
– Josh Sanders, EPS Security Corporate Operations Manager
Serving our community
Beyond the certifications and awards, EPS Security prides itself on serving our community. It is life-saving scenarios and peace of mind that we bring to our community that keep us going day in and day out. When you experience the fright of a real emergency, you must have the best support and response time.
EPS Security operators monitor alarm communications around the clock. We will notify you if your alarm isn’t communicating with our monitoring center immediately, and if an alarm is set off in your home or business, we ensure speedy communication with you to ensure that it is an actual emergency and dispatch the appropriate local authority.
