EPS Engineered Protection Systems, Inc. (EPS) was founded in Grand Rapids in 1955 to provide systems that monitor and control the safety and security of West Michigan homes, businesses, and institutions. It is still our only business. Today, EPS provides security systems and services to more than 14,000 subscribers... including our very first customer (D & W Stores). These customers include Fortune 500 companies with locations in many states, the area's largest institutions, and more retail and service establishments than any other security system provider. We have also designed, installed, and monitored systems for thousands of area homes. EPS is among the 28* most successful companies of the more than 15,000 security firms in the country. Yet, we are not a giant, national company. While we offer the stability, experience, skills, and resources of a large company, you can also count on the personal attention of our top managers.
